MDEX 2025 was nothing short of energizing for our Members, government stakeholders, and especially the NAMC team. As the defense innovation ecosystem gathered in Macomb, we were proud to once again support meaningful engagement between government and industry, highlight the capabilities of our network, and reinforce the importance of collaboration in advancing ground vehicle technologies.
The NAMC Debrief: Insights from AAL VERTEX | Advanced Autonomy 11-12 February 2025
The NAMC team attended the Army Futures Command’s (AFC) Army Applications Lab (AAL) VERTEX event to better understand the rapidly evolving field of ground robotics and autonomy. AAL plans to leverage the insights gained from participants at VERTEX to inform solicitations, requirements, concepts and policy.

In an effort to raise awareness to NAMC member capabilities within the consortium, NAMC launched the member spotlight last year, showcasing an organization from the capability areas identified via the DAI OTA.
Ground Combat Systems (GCS) Common Infrastructure Architecture (GCIA) Community of Interest (COI)
The MOSA Community of Interest (COI) has undergone significant updates and will now be referred to as the Ground Combat Systems (GCS) Common Infrastructure Architecture (GCIA) COI. Current NAMC members in good standing are eligible to apply for membership in this COI. Members who were previously part of the MOSA COI will automatically be included in the GCIA COI.
National Advanced Mobility Consortium Partners with MTRAC to Drive Innovation in Advanced Transportation
The National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) has joined forces with the Michigan Translational Research and Commercialization (MTRAC) Advanced Transportation Innovation Hub, a program aimed at accelerating the commercialization of groundbreaking mobility and transportation technologies. This collaboration underscores NAMC’s commitment to fostering innovation in the mobility sector and strengthening its ties to early-stage research and development efforts across Michigan.

NAMC Supports Army Futures Command's HMI Summit IV, Showcasing Cutting-Edge Technologies
The HMI Summit IV showcased the latest advancements in robotics, autonomy, and enabling technologies at Texas A&M University. The event drew over 800 participants from industry and academia, spotlighting the US Army's investments in HMI platforms and capabilities. Day 2 focused on inspiring students to engage in advanced technology for the US Army, setting the stage for future developmental activities.
