NAMC Supports Army Futures Command's HMI Summit IV, Showcasing Cutting-Edge Technologies

NAMC proudly supported the recent Human Machine Integration (HMI) Summit IV, held on November 6-7 at the RELLIS Campus of Texas A&M University in Bryan, TX. The event served as a testament to the outcomes resulting from the collaborative efforts of NAMC, our Government partners, and our innovative Member organizations in robotics, autonomy, and enabling technologies.

Day 1 of the summit saw over 800 participants from Industry and Academic institutions, offering a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the US Army's investments in HMI platforms, capabilities, and various initiatives. The NAMC Team through an information booth, support at demo sites, and active participation in insightful breakout sessions. Highlights included captivating displays of the Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV), Squad Multipurpose Equipment Transport (SMET), and other pioneering programs, alongside a breakout session on the Army Robotic Common Software (ARCS) and the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO)'s HMI Networks program. Throughout the day, the NAMC booth buzzed with Industry representatives and new Government partners, exploring avenues to contribute to and bolster the Army's HMI endeavors.

On Day 2, the focus shifted to STEM education, exposing students at the K-12 and university levels to future career opportunities in advanced technology that underpin the US Army's operations. Witnessing the enthusiasm of today's youth towards supporting these critical high-tech efforts was truly inspirational.
