Who is NAMC?
The National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, member-led consortium made up of an expert team and approximately 500 Member organizations. As one of the longest-serving Department of Defense (DoD) consortiums, NAMC acts as a bridge between the DoD and its Members to foster innovations that ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and victory for the US Military. NAMC was awarded an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) contract which is a procurement authority of DoD to carry out prototypes, research, and production projects.
The Benefits
NAMC is open to any and all traditional and nontraditional (NDCs), large and small, for-profit companies, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions, with a presence in the United States who are focused on the development of manned and unmanned autonomy-enabled military mobility solutions and associated technologies. As a Consortium, NAMC-facilitated contracts are not subject to FAR-based requirements, allowing more flexible contract actions and often including reduced timelines to award. NAMC’s funding opportunities include Request of Prototype Proposals (RPP), Task Requests (TR), Annual Plan (AP) topics, and more. In addition to project proposal opportunities, NAMC Member benefits also include:
- Deliberate industry-to-industry collaboration through exclusive online teaming opportunities, project-specific collaboration events, and networking venues, and industry days.
- Access to DoD program decision makers through engagements, market research activities, customer-driven requests for information (RFIs), and demonstrations.
- Exclusive discounts to attend conferences and events.
- Unique insights into upcoming opportunities, priorities, and project pipelines through monthly reports detailing program updates, industry news and hot topics, US Military Department strategy updates, and insights to help you enhance your sales planning efforts.
- Access to resources for companies new to the Defense Industry for how to do business with the DoD, submitting proposals, contracting, compliance, and developing opportunities.
- Access to NAMC’s experienced and knowledgeable staff with expertise in programs, contracting, technology, and military operations to help build and grow your business.
- Access to weekly NAMC newsletters which include updates on project opportunities, upcoming industry events, training, collaboration, and resources.
- Opportunity to participate in NAMC’s bi-annual Member meetings with relevant DoD keynote speakers, industry insights, training, and networking.
