NAMC RWP Released | RWP-TR-15 | MPE for UAS

The Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) to Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) integration portion of the “Manned Unmanned Teaming Platform Enablers (MPE) Advanced Component Development” and prototype project has goals to develop and mature the integration of UAS to ground platforms and to demonstrate this as a prototype in realistic operation, not just controlled laboratory environments.

This NAMC Task Request (TR-15) seeks to expedite technology transition from the laboratory to operational use. As such, the NAMC has been contracted through the Ground Vehicle Systems (GVS) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) by the Government to execute a market research technology demonstration event.

MPE UAS Demonstration Delayed

Due to DoD restriction on travel and the COVID-19 guidance, the Task Request 15 - Tethered UAS Demonstration has been postponed. More information will be provided in the coming weeks.

The Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) is working with the NAMC using the GVS OTA to conduct a market research demonstration of the Manned Unmanned teaming Platform Enablers (MPE) for Unmanned Aerial Systems Technology Readiness Levels (TRL)s of current platforms, as well as supporting technologies, available from their industry and academic members.
