Overview

The Government is interested in finding and prototyping integrated solutions for robotics in order to develop and manage an HMIF architecture that will guide emerging Robotic and Autonomous Systems (RAS) capabilities. They are seeking industry inputs that will provide a converged, tactically resilient network capability for the transport of time sensitive, safety critical robotic command and control data intermixed with generic data going between robotic platforms and payloads and the relevant entities in the human formation that integrate with the machines. The requirement for HMIF Networks is 6 to 12 months to accommodate integration of platforms and payloads resulting in a TRL 7+ at completion of this project.

RWP Released | RWP-24-11 | Human-Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Networks

Under this prototype project, the Government is seeking information about concepts, prototypes, or solutions, requiring a limited amount of development that can be integrated, tested, validated, and demonstrated as an operational prototype at TRL 8 or 9 which, nominally, shall be no longer than six (6) months to ten (10) months from award to operational prototype delivery for a converged resilient tactical network that can coexist and interoperate with other existing tactical networks to provide the transport of time sensitive robotic command and control (C2) data.
