Overview

SK APS is intended to protect GCVs from anti-armor munitions by passively detecting an incoming threat, identify the appropriate countermeasure response, and engage/neutralize the threat. The SK APS is modular and expandable, compromised of the Vehicle Protection System (VPS) Base Kit (VBK), plus additional sensors and countermeasures for threat detection and defeat. The SK APS uses a Modular Active Protection System (MAPS) Framework (MAF). The SK APS provides capabilities to detect, declare, classify, and defeat guided and unguided threats.
