Overview

The intent of this project is for industry to provide the Government with proof of concepts to address how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be applied to crew functions, to reduce a crew cognitive burden, when an Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV) crew is reduced from three soldiers to two soldiers.

The Government has revised parts of Sections 1.1, 3.1 and 3.3 in the RPP document.  The revisions are noted up front in the new version of the RPP, which can be found by clicking the Project Documents button.

Final Solicitation Released | RPP-21-04 | AI Enabled Crew Reduction

The purpose of this RPP is to solicit Firm Fixed Price (FFP) proposals for the research and development of capabilities that can help Project Manager (PM) Maneuver Combat Systems (MCS) and Product Manager (PdM) Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OFMV) facilitate the transition from a three soldier crew to a two soldier crew. Proposals are due in BIDS on 29 Apr 2021 by 3:00pm ET.
