Overview

The Government is seeking a quick-turnaround toolset capable of dynamically assessing and comparing ground vehicle system design concepts with respect to Operational Effectiveness measures in support of system level requirements and ground vehicle design decisions through tradespace analysis. Operational effectiveness measures are expected to cover the full spectrum of operational requirements, including tactics, logistics as well as survivability, lethality, and mobility. The prototype tool developed under this effort is envisioned to integrate scenario based operational assessments of known technology with digital vehicle concepts given performance analyses and simulations with the level of fidelity available. The prototype tool should be capable of being iterative and allow for data updates as technologies and analyses mature over time. Project outcomes are expected to compare alternative concept attributes for operational effectiveness and identify external system dependencies in regards to its operational effectiveness measures across multi-domain operations.
