Overview
The project will be completed in two stages. The first stage is Request for White Paper (RWP) with Oral Review. All NAMC members that submit a White Paper (WP) will be invited to participate in an Oral Review event. The Government will assess the offeror’s White Paper in accordance with predetermined assessment criteria and select highly qualified offerors to participate in the second stage.
The second stage is a Request for Prototype Proposal (RPP) that will be issued to the highly qualified offerors selected from stage one. Offerors in this stage shall respond with a full proposal. 1-2 proposals will be chosen and will deliver a Software Integration Lab (SIL), prototype vehicles. The vehicles will be subjected to significant testing after delivery.

The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC), Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) intends to issue a Robotic Combat Vehicle-Light (RCV-L) project under the Ground Vehicle Systems Other Transaction Agreement (GVS OTA), W15QKN-17-9-1025. The GVS OTA was awarded under the authority of 10 U.S.C. § 2371b.

RCV Program Update
U.S. Army Futures Command, Next Generation Combat Vehicle Cross Functional Team (NGCV CFT) has released a Letter to Industry, dated December 11th, 2018 which outlines desired capabilities for the Next Generation Combat Vehicle - Robotic Combat Vehicle (NGCV-RCV) for the Phase II RCV/MET-D (Robotic Combat Vehicle/Mission Essential Technology-Demonstration) Experiment.

RCV Schedule Change
