Due Date Extended
The Due Date for RPP-18-1 Line of Communication Bridge (LOCB) has been extended to Wednesday, December 20th, 2017.
Request for Prototype Proposals
This RPP is intended to solicit proposals (anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price (FFP)) for research and development of a bridging system that meets Line of Communication Bridge (LOCB) requirements and to verify that system meets structural strength and fatigue under high Military Load Class (MLC) loads (e.g. HETS and Abrams) per LOCB requirements.
Site Visits for LOCB
The United States Government (USG) will be providing the opportunity for interested vendors to attend a site visit in support of the anticipated Line of Communication Bridge (LOCB) RPP release. Site visits will be conducted at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Airbase 5 on 14 November 2017 from 1230-1430 and Selfridge Air National Guard Base (SANGB) Bridge Test Lab on 28 November 2017 from 0900-1100.
Numbering Change
Please note that due to the LOCB project moving to the NEW GVS OTA (W15QKN-17-9-1025), it has been renumbered from RPP-18 to RPP-18-1.
DRAFT RPP Documents Now Available
A set of draft RPP documents for industry review prior to the Line of Communication Bridge (LOCB) Industry Day to be held October 17, 2017 are now available.
LOCB Industry Day Announcement
The Program Executive Office Combat Support and Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS) would like to invite interested NAMC members to participate in the Line of Communication Bridge (LOCB) Industry Day to be held October 17, 2017 from 0930-1600 at Automation Alley, 2675 Bellingham Drive, Troy, MI 48083.
Intent to Announce
The Government intends on issuing RPP-18 under the GVS OTA/NAMC. This RPP will include one (1) project of interest: Line of Communication Bridge (LOCB).
