Overview

NSRDEC is interested in advancing safe, simple, minimally powered devices (ranging from completely passive/unpowered up to 100W average power consumption) designed to assist mobility and load carriage tasks. Devices sought to be developed and evaluated through this project may be upper body, lower body, or full body designs. The purpose of this effort is to demonstrate measurable benefit (such as reduction in metabolic demand) during Soldier-relevant locomotor tasks with body-borne or carried military loads.
