Overview

The Government is seeking proposals for metal matrix composite panels. The composite panels shall be capable of stopping ballistic threats and may be in thicknesses of up to 5 inches. Areal densities between 20 and 70PSF will allow for application to a wide range of ballistic requirements. Panels will be a minimum of 24" x 24". Various features may be incorporated into the panels for attachment to various platforms.
