Overview

The Integrated Systems Engineering Framework (ISEF) is a set of interconnected web-tools that enable systems engineering process throughout the product lifecycle and is used to support ground vehicle programs of record. Some of the older ISEF tools were built before the concept of registries (customizable data schemas) was introduced into ISEF. Thus, they are essentially hard-coded to meet one customer’s needs, when they could have utility to the entire Army ground vehicle community. The Government is seeking design and development of a virtual model prototype to demonstrate technical feasibility of a registry-driven Lessons Learned and PM 1-N Needs tool, enabling them to be used by any DoD program. The ability to create a registry (customizable data schema) driven Lessons Learned and PM 1-N Needs tool will enable improved systems engineering execution.
