Direct Application Spall Liner

The Government is seeking proposals for the design and fabrication of a spall liner that utilizes a placement method to directly apply the material(s) to the interior of an armored military vehicles. The material shall be able to be applied over various coating systems (e.g. paint, primer, CARC, etc.) and/or bare metals and/or composites and maintain performance. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the technical feasibility of directly applied spall liner materials for use on armored military vehicles.
