Overview

The U.S. Army TARDEC is seeking design, hardware and software changes to be performed that are necessary to adapt mature Active Protection System (APS) components or systems to achieve compliance with a Modular Active Protection Systems (MAPS) framework version 1.0 or later controller for use in a prototype APS integration and demonstration onto an Army Vehicle. The demonstrator platform is yet to be determined. The Government will provide the latest version of the MAPS framework as GFI at the time of award. Offeror may provide options for maturing prototype APS components or systems to meet some or all of the ATP-2404 Environmental Specifications. If the offeror decides to propose less than ATP-2404 compliant maturation, rationale is expected to address why less than ATP-2404 maturation was proposed (i.e. expense, practicality, etc.).
