Overview

The Government is seeking proposals for composite laminate panels. The composite panels shall be capable of stopping ballistic threats and may be in thicknesses of up to 5 inches. Panels will be a minimum of 24"x24". The panels may incorporate other materials to assist in protection against various ballistic threats. Areal densities between 20 and 70PSF will allow for application to a wide range of ballistic requirements. Integration features may be incorporated into the panels for attachment to various platforms.

Good Idea Submission Phase

Prior to the start of the FY17 Annual Plan, the Defense Mobility Enterprise (DME) will open its BAA Information Delivery System (BIDS) site from 3 AUG 2015 - 28 AUG 2015 to allow for NAMC members to submit their “Good Ideas” to the Government.
