Overview

The Government is seeking proposals on the design and fabrication of explosive reactive armor enclosures. The enclosures will target high strength to weight ratio materials capable of withstanding explosive loading. Dimensions will be 13"x13". Depth will be between 7" and 13". Weights under 15 lbs. are desirable. Each enclosure will house reactive armor plates, protect them from environmental conditions, and contain the blast well enough that adjacent enclosures are minimally affected when mounted to a vehicle.

Good Idea Submission Phase

Prior to the start of the FY17 Annual Plan, the Defense Mobility Enterprise (DME) will open its BAA Information Delivery System (BIDS) site from 3 AUG 2015 - 28 AUG 2015 to allow for NAMC members to submit their “Good Ideas” to the Government.
