Soft Kill Active Protection System (APS) Industry Day

The Government intends to host an Industry Day for the Soft Kill APS on 19 November 2024 at 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The event will be held at the Velocity Center, located at 6633 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314. This is an in-person meeting only, and only open to members of the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC). 

The event will consist of a briefing from the Government to Industry about the requirements for the Soft Kill APS, industry quad chart presentations, and networking.

Any questions that you wish to ask should be submitted through NAMC at Click here to show email address no later than 1:00 PM EST, 14 November 2024, so the Government can review them and provide a response either at Industry Day, or through NAMC. There will be no live Question and Answer segment in this meeting. 

We invite our members to take part in this initiative by delivering brief presentations, either expressing an interest in leveraging specific capabilities related to the Soft Kill project or seeking potential partners with complementing capabilities.

To streamline the process and ensure a focused exchange of information, we will provide a structured framework for presentations, allotting a limited duration of 5 minutes per presentation – including Q&A if desired by the presenter. To facilitate this, all vendors will utilize a quad chart format that you are able to download on the event page that can be found by clicking the button below. The quad chart submitted will be the only material shown during industry presentations. 

Short Organization Presentations Criteria:

• If you're a "prime," let us know what technology gaps you're looking to fill.
• If you're a technology provider, let us know how your capabilities could support primes in relation to the Soft Kill Program.
• Please note each presentation has a maximum time limit of 5 minutes.
• Submissions must be in the provided quad chart template. 
• No embedded videos/video links should be included in the quad charts. 
• If you want to include a Q&A during your presentation, it must fit within your allotted 5 minutes. 

Due to time constraints and the event’s focus, NAMC will select presenters based primarily on relevance to the Soft Kill project.

Submitters will be notified COB 14 November if they were selected.
