Seeking Member Contributions | EV Jobs Academy

NAMC is supporting the Defense and Outdoor Recreation Vehicles Collaborative within the EV Jobs Academy grant for the State of Michigan (formerly MiREV). The EV Jobs Academy (EVJA) focuses on how to attain, retain, and upskill Michigan's workforce to support the EV jobs space.

This EVJA grant was awarded to the Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA) Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN) in January of 2021 by the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity’s Office of Employment & Training. The initial phase of EVJA aims to serve approximately 700 individuals through rapid and accelerated training and re‑training for emerging technologies in connected, autonomous, lightweight, hybrid, electric, alternative fuel, and other advanced vehicle technologies.

NAMC's involvement in EVJA provides a unique opportunity for NAMC Members to support the next generation of defense professionals through speaking opportunities, product and project walkthroughs, and more. If your organization is interested in learning more about the EVJA or participating, email Jessica Sierakowski at Click here to show email address or click the button below.
