In an effort to raise awareness to NAMC member capabilities within the consortium, NAMC launched the member spotlight last year, showcasing an organization from the capability areas identified via the GVS OTA.
Moving forward, we will do a standalone company spotlight twice a month. With over 500+ members, we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and submit your company's information via the link below. There are a lot of exciting projects this fiscal year, and the spotlights help raise awareness to your company capabilities.

Q: What is something unique about your product or service?
A: QSI has been providing integrated solutions for modeling, analysis, embedded real-time diagnostics, remote (tele-) diagnosis, field maintenance and repair for almost 30 years. Our TEAMS (Testability Engineering And Maintenance Systems) digital twin based technology helps reduce mean downtime and improve operational availability via automated and real-time fault detection/diagnosis/prediction and timely maintenance based on observed key sub-system performance parameters. The onboard health/error-codes are seamlessly transferred to the guided troubleshooting component to reduce the ambiguity groups and arrive at the root cause in the shortest possible time. The guided troubleshooting component enables every technician to perform as an expert, thereby reducing maintenance errors and training, and saving time. QSI's model-driven dynamic reasoner guides the technician with maintenance checks, isolating and correcting the root cause(s) of failure. It adapts to technician's skill level, and performs accurate root cause analysis rapidly and shortens the problem determination and correction cycle. It integrates with logistics program elements to gather the current and future maintenance requirements to enable them to plan their system acquisition strategies. Parts and material can be proactively ordered in anticipation of predictive maintenance, thereby avoiding unanticipated/unscheduled maintenance and the concomitant labor costs and expedited shipping costs.
Q: What do you consider your organization’s differentiator?
A: QSI's core capabilities include Remote Health Monitoring, Guided Troubleshooting and Serviceability. Our TEAMS Toolset provides complete life cycle coverage of a system from Design, Development, Operations and Sustainment. The TEAMS model-based approach relies on functional failures and their propagation which can be generalized to any domain. The advantages of the system-wide digital twin, owing to its cross-correlation abilities, is that it provides a complete system wide context where failure in one sub-system can manifest in a different sub-system. A system-wide monitoring capability leads to accurately identifying root causes of system-wide failures.
Q: What do you want other NAMC Members to know about you?
A: QSI is a leading provider of advanced diagnostics, prognostics and health management software solutions built upon its mature TEAMS Toolset. TEAMS applies advanced model-based digital twin capabilities towards vehicle sustainment, optimizes design trades, and provides system health monitoring, remote troubleshooting and actionable decision support at various echelons, thus minimizing overall life-cycle sustainment costs. Our technology works with third-party physics based detection and machine learning (ML) techniques. Since our technology is purpose-built for sustainment, it does not require high fidelity physics-based models. It operates at a higher functional abstraction level which makes it scalable and modular/plug-and-play.
