Q: What do you want other NAMC Members to know about you?
A: P2MS is a leading supplier of electromechanical systems designed and manufactured to sustain and support military missions around the globe. Since our founding in 1978 we maintain key leadership in multiple engineering disciplines and operational excellence with a can-do spirit and an emphasis on partnering with our customers for their success.
We have experience designing, developing, manufacturing, testing, and delivering systems based on MIL-STD 810, MIL-STD-882, and MIL-STD-1472 requirements for supporting warfighters in complex and dangerous environments. We also build to customer-provided Performance Specifications and/or TDPs for military equipment. Our manufacturing competencies include metal works, machining, welding, system integration, electronics and electro-mechanical assembly, advanced composite structures, fabric structures, and a strong testing/qualification expertise.
We follow established ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing processes and tools, honed through delivering thousands of military systems and equipment, including successfully building, assembling, and integrating multiple tactical DoD systems. Examples (provided later) include build-to-print, customized new designs, and major system redesign projects.
Q: What do you consider your organization’s differentiator?
A: P2MS is a small woman-owned business located in St. Louis, Missouri. Our company has been in business since 1978, and while we are a small business, we have nine full-time engineers consisting of mechanical, electrical, design, manufacturing, chemical/composites, and quality assurance. They have an average industry experience of 19 years and an average of 10 years with P2MS.
Our team is capable of designing, testing, troubleshooting and lifecycle management. We have 361,000 sq ft manufacturing facility that is fully equipped to bring a highly engineered customer concept into full rate production on schedule and on budget.
