In an effort to raise awareness to NAMC member capabilities within the consortium, NAMC launched the member spotlight last year, showcasing an organization from the capability areas identified via the GVS OTA.
Moving forward, we will do a standalone company spotlight twice a month. With over 500+ members, we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and submit your company's information via the link below. There are a lot of exciting projects this fiscal year, and the spotlights help raise awareness to your company capabilities.

Technology Objective Area: Mobility (MOB)
HQ: Indianapolis, IN
Organization Type: Nontraditional small business
Capability Areas: C5ISR, Electronically Steered Antennas, Beam Forming, LPI/LPD, Anti-Jam
Q: What do you consider your organization’s differentiator?
A: BATS Electronically Steered Antennas (ESAs) are the industry's first and only smart, beam forming, radio/waveform agnostic antennas designed for mobile MANET, MESH networks. BATS ESAs utilize a cutting edge software (SW) algorithm that enables accurate beam steering in simple or dense radio networks. Applications in terrestrial (ground to ground), ground to air (G2A), and air to air (A2A) are fully supported. BATS ESAs are small enough for small Robots and Tethered drones, as well as for large vehicles Mast installations.
Q: What capability gaps are you able to fill and which industry colleagues would you like to know about them?
A: BATS ESAs are designed to replace an age old problem (gap) of using Omni antennas, Omnis are easy to use but receive/push RF energy from/to all directions. Omnis have weak signal gains and thus force radios to increase power levels to meet link distance requirements, this greatly increases vulnerabilities in critical communications. BATS ESAs secure communications by directing the RF energy from source to destination, this limits all vulnerabilities while also providing an increase in link distance and data capacity. BATS has also made the installation and maintainability of the ESAs "easy", requiring minimal user touch points.
BATS is open to partnering and supporting industry partners looking to enhance critical communications. All types of projects and roles are considered.
Q: Which Government Customer would you like to pitch your organization to?
A:
- DoD - Army, Air Force, SOF, Navy, Marines, National Guards
- Law Enforcement
- International
