Overview

The intent of this project is to have a modular approach so the same design can be implemented on both RCV-M and OMFV vehicles. The Army is interested in focusing on the vehicle systems ability to produce onboard power generation that will improve mobility, performance, and survivability. The power produced by the generator will enable the electrified vehicle to have increased power capability, power density/packaging capability, torque density (combined with drive), operational temperature, cooling requirements, and efficiency. Deliverables required are reports, design data, briefing material, test plans and prototypes.
