ISEF Test Planning and Compliance Tools

The Integrated Systems Engineering Framework (ISEF) is a set of interconnected web-tools that enable systems engineering process throughout the product lifecycle and is used to support ground vehicle programs of record. ISEF currently has a Compliance Evaluation tool. It was developed independently of the bigger picture of ISEF due to immediate customer needs. PM ISEF would like to overhaul the ISEF approach to requirements compliance. First, a test planning tool is required that can auto generate a Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) when a user is finished entering their test plan. This should be closely integrated with the ISEF Requirements Management Tool (RMT), which houses the requirements in need of validation. Second, a new Compliance Evaluation tool is needed that is simpler and easier to use. The tool should auto generate compliance to system and source documents based on numerical or qualitative assessments of a contractor’s performance in delivering a compliant system.
