BotOberfest

The Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE), and the Robotics Community invite NAMC members to participated in BotOberfest 2018 20-OCT-2018 at the Oxbow Meadows and National Infantry Museum.

This is event is being held to establish Columbus and Fort Benning as a Center of Robotic Innovation, and to demonstrate and assess innovative robotic technologies from non-traditional sources, including enthusiasts.

• Fort Benning is the Center of the Universe and the proponent for Army Robotics
• Columbus and Fort Benning, ith Georgia Gubernatorial support, are working together to form a Center of Robotic Innovation
  • Robotic Talent
  • Defense Robotic Industry
  • Robotic Start-Ups
  • Academia - local Universities (Columbus State, Tuskegee, Auburn, Georgia Tech) with linkage to all academia
  • Research and Development, both Government and Commercial
• BotOberfest 2018 is the first event towards that goal
• BotOberfest will provide Defense Robotic Industry direct contact with non-traditional robotic talent, especially during the Cross Domain Challenge
• Industry sponsors, based on level of support, will be given the right of first refusal to invest in specific intellectual property and technologies demonstrated at the BotOberfest StartUP showcase, a Robotic "Shark Tank".
