Presented by the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation (DASA (DEC)) and AUVSI, the Army Worldwide Security Assistance Conference (AWSAC) brings together members of the Army Security Assistance Enterprise (ASAE), Department of Defense (DoD), Department of State (DoS), and U.S. defense industry.
Three Days of Dynamic Engagement
Get ready for an in-depth program designed to examine the ever-changing landscape of security assistance, defense innovation, and the U.S. industrial base. Through engaging keynotes, panels, and specialized sessions, AWSAC navigates these challenges to ensure our partners and allies are equipped with the world’s best defense capabilities.
Day One: The event opens for security assistance practitioners. Discussions include government/industry best practices and strategies to align with congressional requirements and industry capabilities.
Day Two: Formal welcome and keynote address. A day filled with dynamic sessions that tackle the global role of Army and industry, driving partnerships across security assistance and modernization, and identifying key areas of improvement.
Day Three: Sessions will be segmented by government and industry attendees, and will promote open discourse, transparency, and professional development. Government attendee sessions will include Skill Accelerator Breakouts to unlock an employee’s full potential to contribute to ASAE modernization and reform efforts.
