Key Takeaways from AUSA 2023

The National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) recently attended the Association of the United States Army's (AUSA) annual meeting and exposition in Washington, DC. The exposition included some outstanding technologies and capabilities to support U.S. Army priority efforts.  The team enjoyed visiting the nearly 100 members’ booths, hosting visits at our booth, attending the various presentations, and engaging with members, partners, and customers throughout the week at various events.

A prevalent theme of this year’s event was the emphasis on multi-domain robotics and autonomy supporting the maneuver of U.S. Army formations to face current and future challenges in the ever-changing operational environment. The Army also showcased several recent achievements from the last year on the path to modernization while emphasizing open systems architectures supporting persistent modernization for the future.

During the event, NAMC was able to further expand relationships with several key partners and leaders at the exposition, from the Ground Vehicles Systems Center, PEOs Ground Combat Systems and Combat Support & Combat Service Support, US Army Futures Command’s Army Applications Lab, Next Generation Combat Vehicles Cross Functional Team, the U.S. Army’s Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO), to the USMC Marine Corps’ Warfighting Lab (MCWL).

The AUSA 2023 Exposition was a testament to the industry's commitment to fostering technological advancements and highlighting robotics and autonomy's critical role in modernizing the U.S. Army. NAMC and its Members are poised to deliver innovative capabilities to help the U.S. Army retain the advantage in future conflicts.

The NAMC team looks forward to AUSA 2024 where we plan to expand to a larger booth, including space for some of our small business member organizations to co-exhibit. Details on how to co-exhibit are to follow next spring.
